Privacy Policy for SQLMessenger

Last updated on June 11, 2025

SQLMessenger is developed by SQLMessenger Development Group.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your data. This Privacy Policy outlines how SQLMessenger handles information and ensures your data remains private and secure.

1. Local Installation and Data Storage

SQLMessenger is a fully locally installed software application. All components — including the PostgreSQL database — are installed and run entirely on your local computer or server.

During use, SQLMessenger connects directly to the databases, email servers, or other systems (such as Slack API servers) that you have explicitly configured in the software in order to query or process data. All such connections are managed by you; the software does not initiate connections to any external servers or services without your authorization.

All configuration data (such as email accounts, data sources, and recipient lists) is securely stored within SQLMessenger’s local installation directory. Such data is never transmitted to any external system, server, or cloud environment.

2. Email Sending and Data Transmission

Any emails or reports sent using SQLMessenger are transmitted directly from your computer to your email server. At no point do these communications pass through our servers or any third-party infrastructure controlled by us.

3. No Data Collection or Tracking

The SQLMessenger Development Group does not collect, store, track, or share any data from your organization or your use of the software. This includes, but is not limited to:

SQLMessenger does not contain telemetry features and does not send user data in the background. During software startup, it may check for available updates to notify users of new versions.

We do not record these update checks, nor do we store, share, or transmit any information related to version checking to any third parties.

4. Log Files

SQLMessenger may generate local log files on your system for the purpose of debugging or internal error handling. These logs are stored only on your machine and are not transmitted externally.

5. Confidentiality

We do not access or disclose any information about you, your company, or your organization during the provision of software services. Any information shared with us voluntarily (e.g., via support requests) will be treated with strict confidentiality and will not be shared with third parties.

6. Your Rights

Since SQLMessenger does not process or retain any personal data externally, you retain full control over your data at all times. If you have any questions about data access, modification, or removal, please contact us and we will assist you to the extent applicable.

7. Contact Us
